Door Kick Plates

Kick plates prolong the life of doors by shielding them from scratches, dings, and marks in high-traffic areas. They also keep moisture from damaging the base of doors in facilities that require frequent mopping and cleaning. Our kick plates are tested with salt spray to meet ANSI A156.6 requirements for strength, appearance, and durability. They stay looking like new, even when installed outdoors in humid or wet environments.

Screw In

Mount with the included self-drilling screws and skip drilling a hole. The screws match the finish of the plates and sit flush to create a clean, smooth look.

304 Stainless Steel—The choice for most wet and outdoor environments. These plates withstand frequent washdowns but won’t hold up to harsh chemicals, such as bleach, as well as 316 stainless steel.

316 Stainless Steel—The most corrosion-resistant kick plates we offer. These won’t corrode when exposed to deicing salts used on sidewalks or harsh chemicals used to sanitize medical and pharmaceutical settings.

Aluminum—At one-third the weight of stainless steel, these kick plates won’t weigh down swinging doors. Like 304 stainless steel, they won’t corrode when exposed to moisture, but they are more likely to scratch and dent.

Brass—With a shiny, warm finish, these kick plates give doors an elegant appeal. They resist corrosion about as well as 304 stainless steel but require occasional polishing to clean up smudges and avoid tarnish.

Bronze—Outfit public facing doors with a decorative look that hides smudges and marks. Unlike bronze-plated imposters, these solid bronze kick plates will last for decades without any need to replate them. They resist corrosion as well as 304 stainless steel and are slightly stronger than brass plates to prevent scratches and dents.

Width—Select a kick plate 2" narrower than your door to prevent obstructions when opening and closing it.

Height—Kick plates 34" to 46" in height guard against damage from carts or dollies better than shorter plates.

Flexible Stainless Steel Edge Trim with Cushion

Alternating Teeth

Parallel Teeth

Add a protective cushion to angled, curved, and irregular metal edges to protect people and parts when they bump against it. You can also loop this flexible trim into a hole like a grommet to guard wire, cable, and cords from rough or sharp edges. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel keeps its strength and finish through rain, dirt and grime, and washing with chemicals.

Nylon-Coated Stainless Steel—The smooth coating is less likely to mar or scratch the surface than uncoated stainless steel trim. However, uncoated trim stays strong and flexible at temperatures almost three times as high.

Alternating Teeth—This trim bends forward over 90°, but it doesn't bend sideways. Use it on angled or curved edges that don't turn to the side, such as enclosure cutouts.

Parallel Teeth—With twice the grip strength of trim with alternating teeth, this trim stays put through heavier vibration and shocks. It also bends sideways up to 90°, so one strip will conform to a complex or cylindrical profile, such as a U-channel or pipe end.
