Wood Platform | Steel Platform |
Stakes at each corner hold loads in place during transport and are easily removed for unloading.
Wood Platform—Wood platforms are quieter, and grip loads and absorb impact better than trucks with a steel platform. Casters are mounted in a diamond pattern for easy turning and maneuverability. The wheels are rubber to absorb shock on rough surfaces.
Steel Platform—Steel platforms are more durable than wood. Casters have shock-absorbing wheels. The polyurethane wheels are nonmarking and handle heavier loads than rubber wheels. They have wheel brakes to stop the cart from rolling.
