    Nylon Mesh Arbor-Mount Sanding Discs for Stainless Steel and Hard Metals

    Flat

    Create a consistent finish on stainless steel and other hard metal surfaces before painting and coating. With a nylon mesh backing instead of cloth or paper, these discs resist clogging and flex to compensate for uneven sanding pressure. They’re also known as non-woven or surface-conditioning discs. Mount directly onto your tool’s arbor for stable, controlled sanding.
    Silicon Carbide Abrasive—Super sharp to cut quickly under light pressure. Silicon carbide is hard but brittle, so it tends to wear out sooner than other abrasives.
    Ceramic Alumina Abrasive—The sharp edges cut quickly for efficient material removal.
    Style A—Sand your workpiece using the face of the disc. Coarse and medium discs require a backup pad (sold separately).
    Styles B and C—These discs have a reinforced arbor hole for extra support. You can use both their face and edge to sand workpieces. They don’t require a backup pad.
    Threaded Arbor Hole—These discs don’t need a nut to secure, so they're quicker to change out than unthreaded arbors.
    Flat Disc—The standard shape.
    Nylon Mesh Grade—Use coarser grade discs for heavy cleaning, stripping, and deburring. Finer grades remove material more slowly, so they're best for gentle cleaning, blending, and finishing.
