Use to install wood screw threaded studs (also known as dowel screws). Twist screws into the bit opening. These bits have a groove in the shank to fit directly into power tools.

Threaded Rod and Stud Driver Bits

Quickly install threaded rods and studs using a cordless drill, instead of doing it by hand. These driver bits have an opening that grips the rod without damaging its threads. Connect them to your drill using their quick-change hex shank, which has a groove to make it fit without needing an adapter. Do not use these bits with impact drivers because they could distort the threads on the rod.
