The piston in these syringes creates a leak-free, gastight seal against the barrel. It wipes the barrel clean, so the plunger won’t get stuck on your liquid’s deposit. The piston seal is tight enough that the piston won’t retract on its own, so you can take your time while dispensing.

These syringes aren’t autoclavable, so you should clean them with a household liquid detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the plastic. If you need to sterilize them, use gas (ethylene oxide) or gamma radiation.
