    Drum

Sprinkle these compounds over floors before sweeping to absorb dirt and dust.
Petroleum Base—Petroleum-based compounds contain wood fiber and oil. They absorb dirt and dust more effectively than water- and wax-based compounds. Compounds in the 100-lb. box and 250-lb. drum contain sand, which is mildly abrasive to help clean. Compounds in the 150-lb. drum are nonabrasive and leave a shine on finished floors.
Water Base—Water-based compounds contain wood fiber with water and sand. They are mildly abrasive to help clean. Often used in food-processing environments, they don’t leave a residue.
Wax Base—Wax-based compounds contain wood fiber and wax. They absorb dirt and dust more effectively than water-based compounds. They are also nonabrasive and leave the brightest shine on finished floors.
Cannot Be Sold To—Compounds that cannot be sold to the regions listed are restricted by local chemical regulations.

    Granular Sorbents

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sorbents. Granular Sorbents .
Pour over contained spills to absorb and clean up.
Clay—Clay sorbents reduce slipping and won't break down, cake, or mat under heavy traffic. They are low-dust and nonflammable.
Vermiculite—Vermiculite sorbents are lightweight and can also be used as insulation, filling, chemical packaging, or packing material for fragile items. They resist heat and fire.
20 lb. Container Net Weight—Sorbent in the 20-lb. pail has smaller granules than the sorbent in the bag, offering higher absorbency per pound.
Vermiculite Grade—Grade #3 is similar in size to a grain of rice. Grade #4 is similar to a grain of sand.

    Super-Absorbent Granular Sorbents

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sorbents. Super-Absorbent Granular Sorbents .
These sorbents quickly absorb more liquids than other granular sorbents. Pour them over chemical, oil, and water spills and then sweep them away for easy cleanups. You can use them on uneven surfaces and in cracks and crevices where pad or roll sorbents wouldn't fit, such as on roads and parking lots.
    Granules
Paper—Made of recycled paper fibers, paper sorbents are an economical alternative to corn-cob sorbents. They should not be used with aggressive liquids, such as hydrochloric acid.
Corn Cob—Corn-cob sorbents absorb liquids faster than paper sorbents and are biodegradable. They should not be used with aggressive liquids, such as hydrochloric acid.

    Harsh Chemical Neutralizing Granular Sorbents

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sorbents. Harsh Chemical Neutralizing Granular Sorbents .
Sop up hydrofluoric acid, solvent, and formaldehyde spills with these granular sorbents. They safely absorb and neutralize chemical spills in a single step.
    Granules
For Solvents—Solvent sorbents lock in cleaners, thinners, and fuels such as toluene, mineral spirits, acetone, and methyl ethyl ketone (MEK). Unlike other sorbents, they capture harmful vapors and elevate the flash point of the spill to 140° F to reduce flammability.
For Formaldehyde—Formaldehyde sorbents soak up formaldehyde and other aldehyde solutions. They also suppress their hazardous vapors.
