When the button is depressed, the switch latches and can be locked in that position using a lockout or padlock with a 9/32” shackle diameter (not included). All have positive force contacts that will open the circuit when actuated even if a spring fails or the contacts stick. They're rated NEMA 13 and IP65 for protection from oil/coolant spraying and washdowns.
