Through-wall fittings are also known as bulkhead couplings; they mount through your wall or tank to create an inlet or outlet. When installing, the gasket should be on the inside of the wall.
316 Stainless Steel—Fittings are the most corrosion resistant. They stand up to wet environments, just like 304 stainless steel fittings, but unlike 304 stainless steel, they will not corrode from salt water, chlorine solutions, and chemicals.

Thick-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Connect these fittings to Schedule 80 pipe. With thicker, stronger walls than standard-wall fittings, they can handle heavy duty supply applications, such as water processing, wastewater treatment, and irrigation. Fittings are plastic for good corrosion resistance. They meet ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. For plastic threads, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Note: For fittings that are not rated for pressure, you can use the pressure rating of the plastic pipe as a reference. Threaded fittings are limited to 50% of the rated pressure of the pipe.
Through-Wall Straight Connectors for Tanks with Gasket
Through-wall fittings are also known as bulkhead couplings; they mount through your wall or tank to create an inlet or outlet. When installing, the gasket should be on the inside of the wall.
Fittings for tanks create an inlet or outlet connection on the surface of any tank, pressure vessel, or drum.
Cement-Socket Fitting Connection—Attach socket-connect ends to unthreaded pipe or another socket-connect fitting with a PVC primer and cement (also known as solvent weld).
NSF/ANSI 61—To adhere to safety standards for drinking water systems, use pipe that meets NSF/ANSI 61.

Standard-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Connect these fittings to Schedule 40 plastic pipe–they are the industry standard for residential and commercial low-pressure plumbing and water supply applications. They are plastic for good corrosion resistance.

Compression Fitting Connection—Fittings with a compression end create a seal using a gasket and nut instead of cement or thread sealant, so they're quicker to install than socket-connect and threaded fittings. Insert the pipe and turn the end nuts until hand tight—the nuts compress the gasket against the pipe for a leak-resistant seal. This type of connection absorbs vibration and provides flexibility to reduce stress on your line.

    CPVC Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

Made of CPVC, these fittings withstand salt solutions, acids, and other harsh substances. They have thick, strong walls to handle heavy duty industrial plumbing and water supply applications, such as water processing and wastewater treatment. These fittings are comparable to Corzan. Some meet ASTM D1784 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.

    Plastic Pipe Fittings for Oil

Made of corrosion-resistant plastic, these fittings won’t deteriorate when used in oil applications. They also have high strength and impact resistance.

Spin-Weld Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Pipe and Fittings. Spin-Weld Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water.
Create a leak-free, durable connection in plastic tanks, walls, or panels without gaskets or sealants. As you spin these fittings with a handheld electric router, they melt into the surface of your tank for a seal without any joints. To hold these fittings in your router, you’ll need the installation tool (sold separately). For proper installation, you’ll want to use a hole saw to drill a hole that matches the For Hole Diameter listed and check that your router meets the speed and power requirements shown in the table.
High-Temperature PTFE Pipe Fittings for Harsh Chemicals

Extreme temperatures are no problem for these fittings—they’re made of PTFE, so they can withstand a wider temperature range than any of our other plastic pipe fittings for chemicals. They have the chemical resistance to stand up to acid and solvents. Fittings have thick, Schedule 80 walls for heavy duty industrial applications. The material won’t leach contaminates into the line, so these fittings are commonly used in high-purity processes, such as semiconductor and clean room applications. They have a super-smooth interior for unrestricted flow.
Fittings meet ASTM D1710 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.

High-Purity Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Drinking Water

The inside of these fittings won’t leach contaminants into your line or accumulate particles—they’re polished to an ultra-smooth 12 Ra finish, which also makes them easy to clean. Made of polypropylene, they resist organic solvents, acids, and alkalis better than CPVC fittings. These fittings meet NSF/ANSI 61 for use with drinking water, and they’re FDA compliant for direct contact with food. They also meet ASTM requirements for material and performance, and ISO requirements for dimensions.
Connect them to pipe with socket fusion welding for a strong, permanent bond. Use a socket fusion tool with a heater bushing (sold separately) that matches your pipe size.

    Straight

    Adapter

Stub-end straight adapters are used with flanges. Slide a flange onto the stub end and weld the stub end to pipe (not the flange). Since the flange isn’t welded to the pipe, it can be disconnected easily, which creates an access point for frequent cleaning and inspecting.
