    Fuel-Resistant Surface Fillers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Surface Fillers. Fuel-Resistant Surface Fillers.
Also known as sloshing compounds, these two-part epoxies bond to rough and rusty surfaces in fuel tanks to repair leaks and prevent further corrosion. They withstand permanent immersion in fuel, oil, and harsh solvents. Use them with metal, plastic, and fiberglass tanks. Mix the smaller can with the bigger one and pour into your fuel tank. Rotate the tank to coat the interior and dump out any excess. Allow to cure overnight. Size listed is the combined total of the two parts.
1.5 pt. Container—1.5-pint container can treat a 10-gallon fuel tank.
3 pt. Container—3-pint container can treat a 20-gallon fuel tank.

Impervious to the swelling effects of oils, fuels, and solvents, use this high-strength silicone rubber sealant to assemble and repair fuel systems and tanks. Silicone rubber forms a tough, rubbery, UV-resistant seal that remains flexible over time. It's non-sagging, so it won't drip from vertical and overhead surfaces. Also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing).
Elongation and joint expansion/compression tolerance indicate flexibility—the higher the values are, the more joint movement sealants can sustain. This sealant is best suited to joints between similar materials that aren't exposed to wide temperature fluctuation.

Rubber Foam Pipe Insulation Sheets and Strips

Image of Product. Front orientation. Pipe Insulation. Rubber Foam Pipe Insulation Sheets and Strips.
Highly flexible, these sheets and strips are easy to cut and fit around custom shapes and large-diameter pipes. They repel moisture to keep temperatures stable and protect pipes from corroding, extending your system's life.
Buna-N/PVC Foam—Lightweight and durable, this foam also withstands exposure to oil.
Neoprene Foam—Stands up to water, sunlight, oxidation, and oil in short, shaded pipe runs. If insulation is exposed to direct sunlight for long periods, add a coating (sold separately) or wrap it in a jacket.
Adhesive Backing—Press onto pipes to install insulation without needing to hold it in place as you apply tape or contact adhesives.
Coatings—Add a coating of acrylic paint to repel moisture and protect against UV and ozone damage.
Contact Adhesives—Secure insulation to pipes and seal gaps between sections.

An economical alternative to rubber foam insulation—trim these sheets to fit pipe with unique shapes and sizes. Like rubber foam, it repels moisture to keep temperatures stable and protect pipes from corroding. However, it's less flexible.

Ultra-High-Temperature Ceramic Fiber Pipe Insulation Strips

Withstands the highest temperatures of all our pipe insulation. Made of ceramic fiber, this insulation won't melt, sag, or degrade in extreme heat. It's often used in ovens, furnaces, steel mills, and other demanding environments.
Alkaline Earth Silicate Ceramic Fiber with Foil Jacket—Withstands temperatures up to 2100° F. A foil jacket protects against dirt, dust, moisture, and minor scuffs. Its surface also reflects heat to keep temperature loss from pipes to a minimum.
Calcium Aluminum Silicate Ceramic Fiber—Strong and durable, this insulation stays in place for many years without degrading.
Ceramic Alumina Fiber—Handles higher heat and keeps the temperature of your line steadier than our other ceramic fiber insulation. It's ideal for your hottest applications, such as steam reformers and furnace piping.
Adhesive Backing—Install insulation without having to hold it in place—simply position and secure it using band clamps or other components of the assembly. Apply while cool. Heat above 400° F starts to weaken the adhesive, but the insulation's temperature rating remains unaffected.

    Kraft Paper Jacket

Cut custom shapes to fit pipe that runs hundreds of degrees hotter than rubber and polyethylene foam insulation can handle. They're often used near hot water supply and steam lines.
Foil Jacket—Form a barrier that repels moisture and protects against dirt, dust, and minor scuffs. The surface also reflects heat to reduce heat gain on cold lines and heat loss on hot ones.
Kraft Paper Jacket— A lightweight jacket shields insulation from dust, minor scratches, and wear during handling.

Squeeze into pipe racks, equipment skids, and other crowded spaces without sacrificing thermal protection. Extremely thin and lightweight, this insulation flexes into spaces where other insulation can't fit. For added durability, layer multiple pieces, wrap it in foil, or opt for a laminate top.
Laminate Top—Laminate protects insulation so it holds up in cryogenic environments, even as temperatures fluctuate.
