Made of nylon, this thread offers a good balance between stretch and strength. The coating keeps ends from fraying and acts as a lubricant during sewing. It can be spliced for continuous runs and handles temperatures up to 350° F. Larger trade sizes provide greater breaking strength for heavy duty stitching on thick materials like canvas and webbing. Smaller trade sizes come on longer spools and are suited to fine seaming and extended production runs. Meets Fed. Spec. V-T-295.
