    Turnbuckle-Style Connecting Rods

    Similar to turnbuckles, these rods have right-hand threads on one end and left-hand threads on the other so you can make a linkage that adjusts for tension. Add right- and left-hand threaded rod ends to build your linkages. Rods have a hex-shaped body so you can adjust them with a wrench.
    Note: The end with the left-hand threads is marked with a groove.
    Carbon Steel—Carbon steel rods handle higher loads than aluminum and 18-8 stainless steel rods.
    18-8 Stainless Steel—18-8 stainless steel rods are corrosion resistant and stand up to chemicals.
    Aluminum—Aluminum rods are lightweight and have good corrosion resistance.
