Use these wheels for heavy material removal in one spot or along a weld seam. They are also known as Type 1 wheels and snagging wheels.
Wheels are aluminum oxide, which is the most common abrasive used in grinding metal.
Caution: Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.

Heavy-Removal Grinding Wheels with Cotton Laminate for Straight Grinders

Wheels remove more material than other grinding wheels with cotton laminate.
A combination of cotton laminate and aluminum oxide abrasive creates a smoother surface than other grinding wheels with similar grits. Wheels are also known as Type 1 wheels and snagging wheels.
Caution: Use only accessories that have a greater rpm rating than the maximum speed of the grinder you choose.
