No-Snag Chain |
Construct barriers and hang fixtures such as lighting and storage racks. While it won't hold up the same amount of weight as heavy duty chain, this chain is lighter and easier to carry.
Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Tangle-Resistant Chain—Unlike other straight-link chain, short, wide links make this chain easier to coil and less likely to knot when you store or transport it.
No-Snag Chain—The smooth links on this chain prevent it from snagging on clothing and other material.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this chain to rust.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common and economical choice, the zinc plating resists occasional moisture.
Nickel-Plated Steel—With a shiny silver finish, the plating also withstands mild chemicals and salt water without wearing away as fast as zinc-plated steel.
Brass-Plated Steel—Often chosen for the shiny gold finish, the plating also keeps out occasional moisture.
Galvanized Steel—A thick coating protects this chain in wet and outdoor environments about as well as 304 stainless steel, but it corrodes when exposed to salt water and chemicals.

The links on this chain lie flat against curved or awkwardly shaped loads to secure them tightly.
Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
Tangle-Resistant Chain—Unlike other twisted-link chain, short, wide links make this chain easier to coil and less likely to knot when you store or transport it.
Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause this chain to rust.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A common and economical choice, the zinc plating resists occasional moisture.
Nickel-Plated Steel—With a shiny silver finish, the plating also withstands mild chemicals and salt water without wearing away as fast as zinc-plated steel.
Corrosion-Resistant 304 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this chain has no plating that could wear away. It won't rust in wet environments and holds up against mild chemicals and solvents.
