    Similar to locking pliers, the jaws lock in a vise-like grip. Turn the adjustment knob to change the opening size; squeeze the handles to lock the jaws.
    Pull-Open Lock Release—Clamps with pull-open lock release open when you pull down on the bottom handle.

    Bar-Style Locking Pliers Clamps

    Slide the upper jaw to adjust the opening size. These clamps hold larger workpieces than other locking pliers clamps of similar size. Squeeze the handle to lock the clamp and press the release trigger to open it. Turn the adjusting screw to change the angle of the jaws up to 7° to clamp tapered workpieces. The removable plastic pads prevent damage to material.

    Mount these clamps anywhere on your welding table in seconds. They have a press-fit pin that fits into the standard 5/8" dia. holes on most tables—no additional hardware required. When working with taller workpieces, mount these clamps onto fixturing squares or riser blocks for additional height clearance. Turn the crank handle to adjust the opening size. Once your workpiece is in place, squeeze the handle to lock the clamp. To release, pinch the lever under the handle.
