Milling-Machine Vises
Use these vises for reliable workholding on CNC machines.
Premium vises are the industry standard for precision CNC milling and are made in the U.S.A. They're designed to prevent jaw lift, keeping the workpiece seated firmly on the vise bed as the jaws close for precise machining. You can also attach the jaws to the outside ends of the jaw plates to hold a wider workpiece.
Economy vises reliably position workpieces but don't provide the precision and tight tolerances of premium vises. They are imported.
Vise with swivel base rotates 360° in 1° increments and can be locked in place.

High-Precision Milling-Machine Vises
The vise body and stationary jaw are one piece for a repeatable clamping accuracy of ±0.0005", even under heavy loads. Ground flat to a parallel tolerance of 0.0005" on the base and three sides, these vises ensure accuracy whether mounted on the base, either side, or upright. They are designed for use with 3- and 4-axis CNC milling machines. To hold wider workpieces, you can attach the jaws to the outside ends of the jaw plates.

Compact Milling-Machine Vises
The small size allows multiple vises to be mounted on a single machine table. Frequently used in 4- and 5-axis milling machines, these vises can hold a workpiece in multiple ways.
Use the smooth, flat face of the jaws to grip like a conventional machine vise. Raise the workpiece by resting it on the jaws' step to allow more access for cutting tools; serrated teeth along the edge ensure a firm grip. Use the 45° dovetail to hold a matching dovetail machined into your part.
Vises are self-centering—the jaws move inward at the same time to consistently position your workpiece in the center of the vise.
Replacement vise jaws replace the ones that come installed on the vise.
Optional machinable jaws can be machined to fit the contours and curves of your workpiece.

Dovetail Milling-Machine Vises
Designed to hold parts on 4- and 5-axis milling machines, these vises provide rigid clamping while exposing five full sides of the workpiece. This allows even complex parts to be completed in a single operation.
Vises require a dovetail and locating slot to be cut into the bottom side of your material. The dovetail-shaped jaws grip the matching dovetail in your material for consistent locating and high repeatability. Use a Carbide Dovetail End Mill to cut dovetail notches into your material.
While the vises can be mounted directly to some machines or rotary tables, most will require an adapter plate.
Adapter plates have a variety of slots for mounting compatibility with the majority of milling machines and rotary tables.
Risers raise the vise off a machine or rotary table. Risers are compatible with the adapter plates.
