    Style B

    Keep webbing from bunching and attached hooks from sliding. These rings have wide sides that let webbing lie flat and snug corners to cradle hooks securely. They’re often used as end fittings on ratchet straps that connect to hooks.
    Warning: Never use for lifting applications.
    Nickel-Plated Steel—Steel rings are plated to prevent rust.
    Zinc-Plated Steel—Steel rings are plated to prevent rust.
    304 Stainless Steel—304 stainless steel rings hold up in wet or humid environments.
    316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel rings have excellent corrosion resistance. They withstand harsh chemicals and salt water.
    Style A—Style A rings have a round profile, so they pivot in a bracket. This makes it easy to attach tie-down straps at different angles.
    Style B—Style B rings have one corner that is wider than the other two for attaching large hooks. They’re commonly used when securing heavy duty loads. Also known as delta rings.
