Molex Compact Connector Sets

Connectors come assembled with wire leads already installed so they can be quickly added to existing wiring systems. Each set includes one plug and one socket. A locking tab keeps them securely in place when mated. Do not mate tin-plated connectors with gold-plated connectors because the contact points will corrode.
Tin-plated connectors are best for unexposed, mated connections, since they may corrode in harsh environments. Use them in applications where they won’t have to be mated and unmated multiple times. They’re more prone to noise on a signal line than gold-plated connectors, so they should be used in areas that create low noise in contacts.
Gold-plated connectors are more corrosion resistant than tin-plated connectors, making them best for exposed, unmated connections in harsh environments. They’re also more wear resistant, so they can be mated and unmated for more cycles. Good for low-voltage analog circuits, they stand up to noise on signal lines better than tin-plated connectors.

Stackable Pin-to-Pin Connectors

Stack housings and lock them together to form a connector with as many poles as you need. Connectors have a slotted dovetail on each side—align the slots and slide the housings together to lock. An internal stainless steel spring ensures that the pins maintain constant pressure. Current rating is based on a single-pole configuration using the largest wire shown within each range. Also known as power-pole connectors.
Enclosures (sold separately) hold four connectors.

Weatherproof DC Connector Sets
Also known as weather-pack connectors, these can withstand moisture, harsh engine fluids, and high temperatures. They have wire seals to provide an environmental seal between the wire and pin or sleeve. Use them in construction, off-road, and agricultural equipment. Each set includes a plug and a socket.
An extraction tool (sold separately) is required to release the locking mechanism on pins and sleeves so that they can be removed from the housing.
A crimper (sold separately) is required for wire installation. The ratcheting crimper applies the correct pressure to every crimp.

High-Current Pin-and-Sleeve Connectors
A high current rating makes these connectors suitable for use in industrial machinery and floodlights. Current rating is based on using these connectors with the largest size 194° F rated cable in the wire size range given; current ratings decrease as the cable size decreases. The housing is shatter- and crack-resistant rubber so they can withstand rough environments. Push and twist to join plugs and sockets. When mated, they form a vibration-resistant connection to prevent accidental disconnection. Rated NEMA 3R, they protect against falling liquids and light splashing.
Adapters (sold separately) allow you to change the connector’s gender and make multiple connections from a single power source.
Caps (sold separately) protect connectors when not in use.

Vibration-Resistant High-Current Connectors
Make secure connections with machine tools, robots, and other equipment that vibrates frequently and carries currents as high as 300 amps. A wave spring holds these connectors firmly in place when mated, so they won’t come loose. They also evenly distribute force to absorb vibration. To install, push them into a compatible connector and lock with a quarter turn. A click confirms they’re secured. You can pull these connectors out quickly and easily for maintenance.
IP67 rated when connected, all block out dust and can be briefly submerged under water. Their insulation insert meets UL 94 V-0, so it resists catching fire.
Shielded connectors guard against interference from nearby equipment.
