Semi-Flexible Coated Wire Rope

Support utility poles, scaffolding, and masts without damaging nearby surfaces. Formed with fewer and thicker wires than other options, this rope resists bending to keep fixtures upright and stable under tension. The plastic coating protects the inner wires and keeps them from scratching nearby objects. All rope is manufactured in the U.S.
Warning: Not for overhead lifting.
18-8 Stainless Steel—With solid stainless steel construction, this wire rope has no plating that could wear away. It resists rust, but it won't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.
Nylon Coating—Resists abrasion better than other coatings. It also stands up to mild chemicals, but will swell if exposed to moisture.
Wire Rope Construction—Strand core rope is crush and impact-resistant.
Super-Elastic Nitinol Wire
Commonly used for eyeglass frames and antennas, this wire bounces back to its original shape after bending, stretching, and twisting. Nitinol is a nickel-titanium alloy.
