Smooth surfaces, reduce thickness, and chamfer edges on workpieces. These planes have an adjustable blade, so you can change the depth or length of your cuts.
Style A—Compact enough to use with just two fingers and fit in your tool belt, these planes make small adjustments. Also known as trimming planes.
Style B—With a low cutting angle, these planes slice through wood more easily than bench planes. However, they can tear wood along the grain. Also known as block planes.
Style C—Best for planing along the grain. Also known as bench planes.
Overall Length—The longer the plane, the better it is for flattening bowed and bumpy workpieces. Shorter planes give you more control over small areas.

    Benchtop Jointers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Jointers. Benchtop Jointers.
Shave down warped boards until they’re level with your work surface. These jointers are large enough to handle workpieces up to 10” wide, yet small enough to fit on your benchtop. Their cast iron work surface minimizes vibration better than aluminum models for consistent cuts—even with heavy use.
For long workpieces, pull out the work surface extensions to support your board before and after you cut. Connect your wet/dry vacuum or dust containment system to the dust port to contain wood chips.
