Measure your pipe and fittings to identify their pipe size, thread size, schedule, and thread type. Then, find compatible components.

Standard-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Connect these fittings to Schedule 40 plastic pipe–they are the industry standard for residential and commercial low-pressure plumbing and water supply applications. They are plastic for good corrosion resistance.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. For plastic threads, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Note: For fittings that are not rated for pressure, you can use the pressure rating of the plastic pipe as a reference. Threaded fittings are limited to 50% of the rated pressure of the pipe.

Drain, Waste, and Vent Standard-Wall PVC Pipe Fittings for Water

These Schedule 40 fittings are the industry standard for gravity-flow drain, waste, and vent (DWV) applications. Fittings are PVC, which has good corrosion resistance. They meet ASTM D1784 and ASTM D2665 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
Thick-Wall Plastic Pipe Fittings for Water

Connect these fittings to Schedule 80 pipe. With thicker, stronger walls than standard-wall fittings, they can handle heavy duty supply applications, such as water processing, wastewater treatment, and irrigation. Fittings are plastic for good corrosion resistance. They meet ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a sealant to the male threads. Threaded connections can be taken apart as needed for maintenance and repair. For metal threads, use PTFE tape. Drain, Waste, and Vent Iron and Steel Pipe Fittings

Use these fittings in gravity-flow applications both above and below ground. They are also known as no-hub pipe fittings and soil pipe fittings. To connect, place the end of the fitting against your pipe or another fitting and connect with a low-pressure clamp-on connector (sold separately). The clamp-on connector is also known as a no-hub coupling. Fittings are for use in noncorrosive environments.

    CPVC Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

Made of CPVC, these fittings withstand salt solutions, acids, and other harsh substances. They have thick, strong walls to handle heavy duty industrial plumbing and water supply applications, such as water processing and wastewater treatment. These fittings are comparable to Corzan. Some meet ASTM D1784 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.

Drain, Waste, and Vent ABS Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

These Schedule 40 fittings are an economical option for gravity-flow chemical waste systems. They are ABS plastic, which has excellent strength and impact resistance and good chemical resistance. Fittings meet ASTM D2661, ASTM D3311, ASTM D3965, and ASTM F1498 specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions.

Flame-Retardant Drain, Waste, and Vent Polypropylene Pipe Fittings for Chemicals

Made of polypropylene, these gravity-flow fittings withstand organic solvents, such as acetone, that would dissolve CPVC pipe. They also stand up to highly corrosive acids, such as hydrochloric acid, and alkalies. All meet UL and ASTM standards for flame retardance and self-extinguishment in the case of fire. They also meet strict ASTM specifications and testing requirements for material quality and product dimensions. They’re compatible with Orion Blueline No-Hub and Orion Rionfuse chemical waste pipe and pipe fittings.
Either a clamp connector or electrofusion connector is required to connect grooved ends on adapters to pipe or to another fitting with a grooved end. Clamp connectors can be easily taken apart as needed for maintenance. Grooving tools (sold separately) prepare ungrooved ends for clamping. Electrofusion connectors create a stronger, more permanent connection than clamp connectors. Use electrofusion tools (sold separately) to weld these fittings in place.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

Easy-Access Underground Drain, Waste, and Vent Polyethylene Pipe Fittings for Water

The snap-together design allows you to quickly connect these fittings to pipe with no cement required. Fittings are typically used in gravity-flow drainage applications. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), they stand up to freeze/thaw cycles and resist corrosion and stress cracking. Fittings meet ASTM F667 specifications and testing requirements for material quality as well as soil conservation service (SCS) standards for use in underground drain lines.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings, flanges, and pipe with compressed air or gas.

    Clear-View Socket-Connect Check Valves

Visually inspect flow and debris accumulation through the transparent valve body. Insert unthreaded pipe into the socket ends and bond with primer and cement to create a permanent, leak-tight connection. These valves open to allow flow in one direction and close when flow stops or reverses. They have a removable cap that provides easy access to internal components for maintenance.

    CPVC Y-Strainer Screens

Image of Product. Front orientation. Strainer Screens. CPVC Y-Strainer Screens.
Replacements for CPVC Y-strainers, these perforated screens have 1/32" perforations that catch debris while maintaining good flow. CPVC resists corrosion from aggressive chemicals and handles higher temperatures than standard PVC, making the screens well suited for hot-water and chemical-processing lines. To find the correct replacement, measure the OD and length of your current screen and match it to the table.
