Reusable Cable Ties
Whether you plan to change the bundle size or need a temporary hold, these ties have a release tab for removal and reuse.
Squeeze-release ties are the easiest to release but take up the most space. The head sticks out, so you can use your fingers as support while pressing down the tab with your thumb. This easy release makes these ties a good choice when you have reduced dexterity, such as while wearing gloves or only using one hand.
Lift-release ties are more difficult to accidentally release but have the lowest profile. Use a tool, such as a small flat head screwdriver, to lift the tab and release these ties.
Ties with a tuck-back head have an additional slot to tuck the excess tail away. This means you don’t have to cut the tail, preventing sharp edges from nicking you.
Wide and extra-wide ties are stronger but less flexible than standard cable ties. Use them for heavy duty applications that require extra strength.

Choose-a-Color Reusable Cable Ties
Use different colored ties to identify bundles at a glance. A release tab makes these ties easy to remove and use again. Elastic Hook and Loop Cable Ties with Buckle
These ties stretch to hold material tightly without slipping. The buckle allows you to cinch these ties tight.
Screw-In Mount Hook and Loop Cable Ties
Mount bundles to surfaces with a screw or fastener. Since the mounting grommet on these ties is not accessible after material has been bundled, these ties are best for a permanent installation. All have a feed-through plastic buckle, so they can be cinched tight.

Cinching Straps
Also known as lashing straps, use these to tightly secure material.
Polypropylene is water resistant. Straps with a steel or plastic buckle have some UV resistance. Cotton is soft and easy to handle. Nylon is abrasion resistant and strong, yet flexible. Polyester repels water, resists mildew, and won't stretch as much as other materials. It has better UV resistance than polypropylene.
Feed-through buckles are easy to thread quickly. Squeeze-release buckles can be released with one hand. Spring-loaded clamp buckles are easy to release for quick adjustments. Press down on the clamp to release the strap. Cam buckles tighten faster than feed-through buckles and provide a more secure hold than spring-loaded clamp buckles. Flip-lock buckles are also known as over-center buckles. The buckle flips down to close, adding additional tension to the strap. Ratchet buckles let you quickly cinch straps more tightly than other buckles.

Cinching Straps with Hook
