    Electrical Enclosure Panels

Image of Product. Front orientation. Electrical Enclosure Panels. Electrical Enclosure Panels.
Image of Attribute. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Electrical Enclosure Panels.
Install components and make electrical connections on a panel, then mount the panel in your enclosure. Using a panel means you won’t need to make holes in the body of your enclosure, which could let in dust and water. Choose a panel made of the same material as your enclosure or a material that works for your environment.
White Painted Steel—White painted steel panels work for most applications. The bright white color reflects light and makes it easier to see inside the enclosure.
Galvanized Steel—Galvanized steel panels are good conductors of electricity. Connect the panel to your grounding path to prevent static sparks.
Aluminum—Aluminum panels conduct heat better than panels made from other materials, so they can help dissipate heat inside your enclosure. These panels offer corrosion resistance similar to stainless steel, but they weigh much less.
304 Stainless Steel—304 stainless steel panels are the best choice for 304 stainless steel enclosures. They won’t corrode in damp environments.
316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel panels are the best choice for 316 stainless steel enclosures. They resist corrosion from salt water and chemicals.
Gray Polycarbonate—Polycarbonate panels don't block wireless or radio signals, so they work well for wi-fi-enabled components. These panels are corrosion resistant and easier to machine than metal panels.

Mount servers, automation controls, and computers in these open racks, they make it easy to organize and swap out components. Less bulky than electronics cabinets, you can line up these racks to maximize limited storage space. Each rack has two pairs of grounding studs that create a path for static electricity and protect components from electric shocks.
All are compatible with standard 19" wide components. One rack unit is 1.75" high.
UL 2416—Freestanding electronics racks meet UL 2416 so they're rated for use in server rooms and other IT, AV, and telecom installations.

Unlike solid panels, these panels have a grid of holes sized to fit self-tapping screws, so there’s nothing to measure, mark, or cut. Mount components to the panel, then install it in your enclosure. Using a panel helps keep dust and water out because components mount on the panel and not through holes in the enclosure itself.
