Strip-Resistant Drilling Screws for Metal
Serrations under the head act as a brake to prevent overtightening and damaging threads. The flange reduces the risk of crushing thin metal. They save you time and effort by drilling their own holes and fastening in a single operation. A hex head provides a larger gripping area for installation with a wrench or socket driver. Length is measured from under the flange. Head height includes the flange.
Screws with 0.15" head height are used in low-clearance applications.
External Hex/Torx drive screws give you the choice to install with a wrench or a Torx driver.
Zinc-plated steel screws resist corrosion in wet environments.
Ultra-corrosion-resistant-coated steel screws are more corrosion resistant than zinc-plated screws.
