    Whether for permanent connections or emergency repairs, build your own band-and-buckle clamp in the size you need. A full clamp requires banding, a buckle, and an installation tool.
    When choosing the parts for your clamp, measure the outside diameter of your hose with the fitting installed.

    Black Polyester-Coated 200 Series Stainless Steel—The polyester coating guards these clamps from abrasion and UV light. Made of 200 series stainless steel, they also withstand some exposure to water and mild chemicals.
    Breaking Strength—The maximum tension you can apply to the banding before it breaks. For an extra-strong clamp, wrap the banding around twice, threading it through the buckle each time.
