    Fiberglass Washers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Washers. Fiberglass Washers.
A lightweight alternative to stainless steel, these fiberglass washers have the best strength-to-weight ratio of all our nonmetal washers. Commonly used to distribute pressure under nuts and screws in building frames, they are a great fit when you need something more robust than plastic, but still have to stay within a certain weight limit.

    Dry-Running Sleeve Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Sleeve Bearings. Dry-Running Sleeve Bearings.
Made of naturally slippery plastic so you’ll never have to add lubricant. They’re ideal for clean environments where you need to prevent oil drips or graphite flakes. Compared to metal bearings, they are lighter and will never rust.
With no moving parts, sleeve bearings are the simplest way to support the load of a rotating shaft while reducing friction. Also known as plain bearings.
Extreme-Load Ultra-Chemical-Resistant Fiberglass-Backed PTFE—Our strongest PTFE bearings. They’re ideal for heavy loads thanks to a backing layer made of fiberglass. The PTFE core is unaffected by the harsh fluids that other plastics can't handle, including all strong acids and bases.

    Electrically Insulating Linear Sleeve Bearings

These fiberglass bearings are lightweight, nonmagnetic, and won’t conduct electricity. Bearings are for use with round end-supported shafts. All have a fixed-alignment design for applications where shaft misalignment is unlikely. To install, slide bearings into a housing (not included) and secure with two retaining rings (sold individually).

The most common strut channel nuts, these have serrated grooves that grip the lip inside channel.
Fiberglass—Pair with fiberglass strut channel for a structure that won’t transmit electrical current. When conductivity isn’t a concern, fiberglass is also good for areas exposed to chemicals and salt water.

Our most stable washers. Wings reach over the edges of strut channel so washers won’t twist when structures vibrate. They also free up your hands during installation—you don’t have to hold them while you insert a threaded rod and twist on a nut.
Fiberglass—Pair with fiberglass strut channel for a structure that won’t transmit electrical current. When conductivity isn’t a concern, fiberglass is also good for areas exposed to chemicals and salt water.
