Wraparound-Lens Ceiling Lights

These fixtures disperse light from the sides as well as the bottom to produce ambient lighting ideal for indoor spaces such as offices and storage rooms. Rated for use in damp locations, these lights withstand humidity and moisture. All have a lens that disperses light evenly. Lights can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed.
Lights without bulbs work with tubular fluorescent bulbs (sold separately).
Add suspension hardware (sold separately) to hang lights from the ceiling. Includes two wire rope slings with hooks and two wire rope clamps. No tools required—adjust the length and tighten clamps to secure.

Recessed Ceiling Lights
Also known as troffers, these lights fit most standard drop-ceiling grids, so they’re often used in indoor spaces such as offices and storage rooms. They can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed.
Lights with a parabolic lens are reflective to direct light downward and reduce glare. They require fluorescent bulbs (sold separately).

Ceiling Lights with Reflectors

Also known as turret lights, these fixtures have uplight or downlight reflectors to direct light. They work well in indoor workspaces such as offices and storage rooms where directed or ambient lighting is important. Lights can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed.
Downlight reflectors focus light on a workspace by capturing all light and directing it downward. Uplight reflectors have openings that allow some light to escape, reducing glare and creating more ambient lighting than downlight reflectors.

Hazardous Location Ceiling Lights

These lights are UL listed or CSA certified for hazardous locations where flammable/combustible gases, vapors, and liquids may be present. They have a sealed lens and can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed.
Style 3 withstand hazardous material under normal operating conditions. Housed in lightweight aluminum, they suspend from the ceiling with two female threaded connections that thread onto ½ NPT conduit. These lights cannot be sold to Canada due to local energy efficiency requirements.
Lights with a cool appearance highlight white/blue tones that are good for inspecting.
All are IP66 rated for protection from washdowns. NEMA 4X rated lights protect their parts from corrosion.

Hazardous Location Recessed Wall Lights

Mount lights in recessed spaces so the lens is flush with the wall. These fixtures are ETL and C-ETL listed for Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D; and Class II, Division 2, Groups F and G for use where ignitable concentrations of hazardous material occur infrequently, such as in the case of an accidental spill or failure of a ventilation system. They withstand acetylene, hydrogen, ethylene, propane, carbonaceous dusts, and nonconductive dusts. These lights are often used in freestanding buildings, such as paint spray booths, so the back opens like a door for changing light bulbs from the outside. They can be hardwired to operate on any of the voltages listed. They work with tubular fluorescent bulbs (sold separately).

Plug-In Portable Lights
Hang these lights where you need them on the job site.
Styles A-E come with LEDs that last longer, are more efficient, and generate less heat than other light technologies. They produce a cool light that highlights white/blue tones, which is good for inspecting. The LEDs in Styles A, B, C, and E are built-in, while Style D come with a replaceable LED bulb. All have an impact-resistant plastic lens to protect the LEDs.
Styles F and G are furnished with replaceable fluorescent bulbs. They produce a cool or daylight appearance that highlights white/blue tones, which is good for inspecting. Fluorescent lights last longer and generate less heat than halogen lights. All have an impact-resistant plastic lens to protect the bulb.
Bulbs that cannot be sold to Canada exceed local regulatory limits on mercury content.

Blacklight Blue Light Bulbs

Detect UV-reflective materials that are invisible to the naked eye with these bulbs. They contain a blue filter that absorbs the visible light they produce while allowing long wave ultraviolet (UV-A) light to pass through. They appear black when turned off. These bulbs are not for use in bug zappers. A bulb’s estimated yearly cost is based on 3 hours of usage per day at $0.11 per kWh.
Bulbs cannot be sold to Canada because they exceed local regulatory limits on mercury.
Sockets for Tubular Light Bulbs
Replace worn sockets in light fixtures. These sockets work with tubular fluorescent bulbs, and some also work with LED bulbs.
Sockets for rapid and preheat ballasts are also known as non-shunted.
Sockets for instant-start ballasts are also known as shunted.

Electronic Ballasts for Tubular Fluorescent Light Bulbs

In addition to being more energy-efficient than magnetic ballasts, these electronic ballasts are lighter and quieter. Ballasts that can operate multiple bulbs may have more wires than you need. Cover unused wires with a wire nut.
Instant-start ballasts turn on immediately. They are the most energy-efficient, but shorten the bulb's life.
Programmed-start ballasts provide the longest bulb life, but they take longer than instant- and rapid-start ballasts to turn on. They are often used with motion-sensing light controls.

Magnetic Ballasts for Tubular Fluorescent Light Bulbs

These ballasts are often found in older installations. Ballasts that can operate multiple bulbs may have more wires than you need. Cover unused wires with a wire nut.
Preheat ballasts take several seconds to turn on and require a starter. Ballasts with a built-in starter are more efficient than other preheat ballasts.
Ballasts that cannot be sold to Canada do not meet local efficiency standards.
