Set the desired torque within range and these wrenches will signal when it's reached. To relieve pressure on the spring and maintain calibration, set torque to the lowest reading on the scale when not in use. These wrenches come with a calibration certificate, which includes test measurements that confirm accuracy.
Torque-Limiting Click—An audible click lets you know when the set torque is reached.
Torque—You can tighten fasteners that require less torque than the values listed, but the accuracy ratings apply only within the specified range.

A main pointer on the dial shows torque as it’s being applied and a memory pointer indicates the maximum torque reached. Use to determine fastener torque specifications as well as to identify the torque required to loosen tightened fasteners. These wrenches come with a calibration certificate, which includes test measurements that confirm accuracy.
Note: Accuracy ratings do not apply to the lower 20% of the torque range.

Loosen stubborn fasteners—these wrenches operate at full torque counterclockwise to break stuck bolts free. You can also use them clockwise within their working torque range to tighten fasteners more quickly than with manual wrenches. Use these wrenches with impact sockets only. Air-powered tools require lubrication to operate properly.
D-Handle Grip—D-handle grip wrenches are heavier than straight or pistol grip wrenches, so you need to use two hands to deliver their full power.
Ring Socket Retainer—Ring-style socket retainers are good for quick socket changes—just pull the socket off the retainer and push on another one.
Ring and Hole Socket Retainer—Ring-and-hole and hole-style socket retainers hold sockets more securely than ring-style retainers and require a retaining ring. Hole-style socket retainers are also known as positive locking retainers.

Built to withstand tough environments, these wrenches have steel or titanium housings to protect them if they fall. Use them when you need high force to turn fasteners. To break stuck fasteners free, apply full torque counterclockwise. To drive fasteners, turn them clockwise within the working torque range. These wrenches can only be used with impact sockets. Air-powered tools require lubrication to operate properly.

Loosen stuck fasteners and drive in fasteners with high force anywhere on your site. These impact wrenches run on a rechargeable battery, so you don’t need to be near an outlet to use them. Wrenches operate at full torque in the counterclockwise direction. The working torque range applies to the clockwise direction, often used for fastening. Use these wrenches with impact sockets only.
Some wrenches come with batteries and a charger. For others, batteries and chargers are sold separately.
Ring and Hole Socket Retainer—Ring-and-hole-style socket retainers, also called positive-locking socket retainers, provide a more secure hold than ring-style retainers. These retainers require a retaining ring (included).

    Air-Powered Torque Wrenches

Faster than manual torque wrenches, these run on air to turn fasteners quickly. Also known as nutrunners, they secure screws and nuts without the risk of overtightening. Set your desired torque and the wrench signals when it’s reached by stalling the motor or disengaging the clutch.
Use with impact sockets only. Air-powered tools require lubrication to operate properly.

    Cordless Torque Wrenches

No outlets to find or cords to limit mobility—take these battery-powered wrenches wherever they’re needed. Use them to secure nuts and bolts without the risk of overtightening. Set your desired torque and the wrench signals when it’s reached with an indicator light, audible click, or by stalling the motor. All come with a calibration certificate, which includes test measurements that confirm accuracy.
Wrenches with a 3/4" or larger square drive are only for use with impact sockets.

    No-Reset Adjustable Torque Wrenches

Unlike most torque wrenches, you don’t have to set torque to the lowest value on the scale after use. These wrenches indicate when your set torque is reached with an audible click and an impulse in the grip. They come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST, which includes test measurements that confirm accuracy. Also known as split-beam torque wrenches.
