    Ultra-Weldable 6005 Aluminum Triangular Tubes

    The easiest multipurpose aluminum alloy to weld. Often used to reinforce joints, 6005 doesn’t require you to preheat the metal or perform a test weld. It has similar strength and corrosion resistance to 6061, the most widely used aluminum.
    To form custom brackets (gussets), pair these tubes with our Multipurpose 6061 Aluminum Triangles. You can weld or fasten them together. To fasten, drill mounting holes on the tube’s sides that form a 90° angle. Drill holes or a slot on the angled side to access the mounting holes.
