Threaded On/Off Valves for Natural Gas and Propane
- Valve Type: Plug
- For Use With: Natural Gas, Propane
Also known as plug valves, these are often used as a mainline shutoff in natural gas and propane pipelines.
Wrench-operated valves require a wrench (not included) to open and close the valve.

Drain Valves
Also known as stop cocks, install these valves on your tank for easy draining of air or fluid.
Valves with an internal seal have shorter stems than those with external seals, so they fit shorter clearances. However, they’re more likely to introduce contaminants to the tank from debris collected on the exposed threads.
Valves with a brass body won’t corrode when venting air or draining water—even in wet or humid environments. Valves with a ductile iron body have excellent strength and durability. However, they’re less corrosion resistant than valves with a brass body. They’re often used to connect to iron pipe.

with Built-In
Wrench
Wrench-operated valves have a cover with a built-in wrench. Remove the cover and turn the wrench to open and close the valve. Attach a tube or pipe to the outlet to route the flow of draining liquid. They have a lockable cover that prevents tampering when you add a padlock (not included). The valve can only lock when closed.
