Extra-Wide-Opening Tilting-Head Bench Vises

For large workpieces, these vises open three times as wide as industrial tilting-head vises. The head tilts, rotates, and locks in place to hold your work at an angle. Vises have one smooth jaw and one grooved jaw for clamping flat, round, and uneven workpieces. The 5-lb. weighted base is heavy enough to keep the vise in place but light enough to be portable. For temporary mounting, add a clamp-on base (sold separately).

Static-Control Circuit Board Vises

Rotate these vises to solder both the front and back of your circuit board while preventing static charges from damaging your components. Plastic jaws slowly drain static charges away, minimizing the buildup of electrostatic discharge (ESD). To make soldering components through the holes on your board easier, these vises have a positioning arm that holds your component. This allows you to rotate the board and solder on the opposite side without you needing to hold the component.

Freestanding Pipe Vises


Chain Style	Yoke and Chain Style	Yoke Style

Hold pipe and conduit for cutting, threading, and assembly just about anywhere.

Chain Style—Grip workpieces of any shape. The chain can secure pipe as well as bar stock, valves, and other irregularly shaped objects that yoke-style vises can’t hold. Crank the handle to pull your workpiece tight against the bottom jaw.

Yoke Style—Suited for threading and other high-torque jobs since the top and bottom jaws clamp tighter than a chain. You can reverse the yoke to open from the left or right.

Yoke and Chain Style—Get a grip on exceptionally large pipe. These vises have jaws that clamp down like a yoke-style vise and a chain that wraps around the pipe for stability.

Pipe Bending Slots— Make small bends in pipe to line it up with fittings for installation.

Self-Closing Legs—The easiest freestanding vises to move. When you lift them by the handle, the legs snap shut so you can carry them with one hand.

Freestanding Pipe Vises for Clean Rooms

Keep clean rooms free of contaminants. These vises have rubber-covered jaws that prevent metal-to-metal contact and a plastic-encased chain that seals in lubrication. Easy-Carry Pipe Vises

Carry these compact vises with one hand instead of lugging a freestanding vise to your next task. Spring-loaded jaws clamp pipe in seconds for a grip that’s tight enough to keep pipe from rotating as you assemble and disassemble fittings. Use these vises on a bench top or floor. When a stubborn fitting calls for extra oomph, brace the vise with your foot and add a stabilizing bar (sold separately) to get the leverage you need. However, these vises don’t grip tightly enough for cutting and threading like chain- and yoke-style vises do.
