To determine how high to raise the end, multiply the sine of your desired angle by the distance between the vise’s dowels, which is the hypotenuse. They have a locking bar you tighten with a _5/32" hex key (not included) to secure the angle. Mount them to your work surface, or when you need to cut material on a compound angle, to a sine plate.
