Goatskin gloves are soft with good tactile sensitivity.
Sheepskin gloves are soft and have excellent dexterity.
Kidskin gloves are softer, stronger, and provide more dexterity than goatskin.
Gloves with a Kevlar lining meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the glove using a razor blade.
Gloves with open cuffs are more convenient to put on and take off than other gloves. Hook and loop cuffs can be adjusted for a snug fit.

Slip these pads over gloves for additional protection against sparks and spatter. They are made from highly heat-reflective aluminized rayon and have straps to hold them in place.

Cotton sleeves are lightweight and washable. They have knit cuffs for a secure fit.
Leather sleeves are abrasion-resistant cowhide. Open cuffs are convenient to put on and take off. Fasten the wrist snap for a closer fit. Sleeves with an adjustable strap can be tightened around the upper arm to keep them in place.
Acrylic/Buna-N blend sleeves are stretchable and wick moisture away while you work. A thumb slot secures the sleeve over your palm and back of the hand for added protection. Knit cuffs provide a secure fit.
